Pusha-T performed at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto tonight for the first time since his beef with hometown hero Drake, and it didn’t end well. According to tweets from concertgoers, the show ended abruptly after a commotion broke out on stage and the cops were eventually called.

someone tried to attack pusha and there was a brawl after… he came back eventually to perform “don’t like” and take subliminal shots at drake, but the cops were called and the show had to be cancelled… pic.twitter.com/ogyiBL2MDp

While it’s unclear exactly what transpired in videos posted to Twitter, tweets from attendees give a better idea about what went down, although there are varying takes. According to Twitter user @LaNicaPoetess, a group of individuals threw water, beer and paint on stage in the middle of Pusha’s performance.

Others say there was an actual fight on stage, with Pusha’s security taking down three guys who tried to rush the GOOD Music president. Both the water attack and the fight were both seemingly confirmed by stylist @Upscale_Vandal

I’ll give you what I saw. Pusha was singing a song and right on the bar where he says something about getting wet/soaked or something along those lines about 10 mans threw water at him. Ruined it for everyone.

3 guys rushed the stage and tried to jump Pusha T. Pusha’s boys quickly stopped and beat those guys down and then as the guys who were trying to rush Pusha ran away got beat by the crowd as well. 10 mins later cops came and stopped the show.

After the attack, Push disappeared off stage briefly before coming back to perform “I Don’t Like” and “The Story of Adidon” while blaming Drake for the disturbance. Sources familiar with the situation have said they’ve heard rumblings of Drake (or people affiliated with him) purchasing 200 tickets and sending people to the show in order to cause a scene.

Pusha T played his hits “I don’t like” right after that happened and said “HE PAID PEOPLE TO COME HERE. Don’t he know where I’m from?” Or some shit like that, MADNESS MARLON. FUCKING MADNESS

It’s unsure right now whether there will be any more details that emerge in the coming hours or days. There’s definitely a lot of disappointed fans out there, but we’re just happy that nobody was seriously hurt. This incident comes just a week after Pusha-T performed at Camp Flog Gnaw with a “Fuck Drake” graphic projected onto a giant screen behind him—a move he later blamed on a “corny ass tech dude.” Looks like this beef is far from over.
